hello!

A smiling woman with long brown hair holding a bouquet of pink and red flowers, standing behind green leafy plants against a plain light-colored wall.

Named after the very first garden, Eden Flowers takes inspiration from the natural beauty, seasonality and wonder of curated-yet-wild growing spaces.

I’m Sarah, florist and grower at Eden Flowers. I grow seasonal blooms from my back garden in Preston, Lancashire.

That means choosing beautiful varieties, considering seasonality and soil care for the best flowers, and gathering colours and textures to create cohesive arrangements.

My own love of flowers began 10 years ago when tending my grandma’s roses during a period of illness shortly after she passed away. The process of pruning felt much like the limiting effect of my illness, but I was fascinated by the hope and promise of healthy, abundant blooms because of it.

As I’ve enjoyed growing from the various spaces I’ve had over the years, the possibility to grow, nurture and multiply something beautiful from something as small and unassuming as a seed or tuber has become an analogy I carry through life (as has ‘the more you cut, the more will grow’!)

Flowers do more than look pretty—they connect people, spark joy, inspire creativity and share feelings beyond words. They play a part in life’s most personal moments, from milestone celebrations and getting married, to meaningful tributes, and simply the ‘I thought of you’ days.

I absolutely love that I get to be a small part of making these moments special for you.
